ARM Securities Limited (ARM Securities) started operations in 1994 as a full service brokerage house that offers brokerage services to local as well as foreign private and institutional investors. The company is a dealing member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and is regulated by Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

ARM Securities is a product of an alliance between Hamilton Hammer & Co. Limited (“HH”) and Asset & Resource Management Holding Company (ARM) Limited. In 2008, HH aligned itself with ARM a major diversified financial service firm with special interest in asset management, investment banking, real estate and infrastructure financing. The aim of the alliance was to produce a world class brokerage firm that offers superior service; has strong capital base, robust technological platform, strong and efficient distribution capabilities as well as enhanced technical and human resources.

Our Approach

Board & Management

Mr Femi Akinsanya - Chairman

Femi Akinsanya is the Chairman of ARM Securities Limited. He was a General Manager and Head of Corporate Finance at First City Merchant Bank Limited (now First City Monument Bank Limited). Mr. Akinsanya is a member of reputable professional bodies and a licensed stockbroker of The Nigerian Stock Exchange.

He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Lagos (1976), and MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1979).

Temitayo Sogbola - Acting Managing Director

Temitayo Sogbola, now the Acting Managing Director, joined the ARM Securities board in April 2018 as a Non-Executive Director. Prior to this, Temitayo was the Group Head, Risk Management & Internal Audit where she was responsible for oversight of the Risk Management, Internal Audit, Information Security, and Internal Control functions.

Currently the Chief Risk Officer in ARM, Temitayo has been instrumental to setting up the Risk Management function, while she led the design and implementation of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management framework. Her career also spans working as a Financial Risk Management Officer at KPMG Professional Services, Nigeria.

An alumnus of INSEAD Executive Education, Temitayo holds a B.Sc Accounting degree from Obafemi Awolowo University and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Dr Temitope Oshikoya - Director

Dr. Oshikoya is the Chief Executive Officer of West African Monetary Institute. He has previously served as Chief Economist of the Africa Finance Corporation, as a Director at the African Development Bank (ADB), and an economic consultant to the World Bank. He has served on the board of directors of the East African Development Bank (Uganda), African Capacity Building Foundation (Zimbabwe), and Africa Regional Technical Assistance Centre (Tanzania), and the Governing Council of the Nigerian Economic Society; Nigeria 2025 Scenario Project; and the Policy Support Group of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group.

A commonwealth scholar, Dr. Oshikoya has PhD, MA, and B.Sc. First class honours degrees (Economics), MBA (Finance), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), and FCIB (Banking). He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, England and Nigeria; and a member, Institute of Certified Management Accountants, USA.

Wale Odutola - Director

Wale Odutola is currently the Managing Director of ARM Pension Managers (PFA) Limited. Prior to this appointment he had served as the Managing Director of ARM Securities, ARM Properties Plc., as well as ARM Hospitality and Retail Fund where he was responsible for significant improvements in the businesses operating performance. Wale has a B.Sc. Accounting degree from the University of Lagos and is an Alumnus of the Harvard Business School with over 18 years’ experience in the financial sector.
